I know there's a movie (only for the first book that was published). I actually didn't know that there was a book until I saw the movie. For the most part I feel the cast list was well executed by Hollywood. The other books have other characters, so I feel like I need to explore.

Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer are great faces for R, and Julie. I love Analeigh Tipton: she's fantastic in the roll of Nora, but in the books, she's described as having 'caramel' skin. In the prequel book 'A New Hunger', we are introduced to Nora's brother, Addis (he's not in 'Warm Bodies' book or movie- gotta read) who is also described with dark skin.

  • I'm going to recast Nora as Tyffanee Smith

  • Addis~ Remenber I'm doing the series; he's in the other 3 books~ Seth Carr

  • Sprout~ Kennedi Clement

  • Abram~ Armie Hammer

  • Audry~ Blythe Danner

  • R's kids Joan & Alex~ Not in the movie: thanks, Hollywood. They are 'given' to R, and his 'wife' (she's not in the movie either) in the airport~Hudson West & Skye Brown

  • R's zombie bride~ Sydney Sweeney

  • Tomsen~ Tristan Rogers

  • Rosy~ Hugh Jackman

  • R, Julie, and Marcus are groovy as Hollywood has them.

I had tons of problems with the final book in the series (the Living).I don't want this to turn into a review blog- that's what Goodreads is for, but it's splattered with a ton of characters who pop up, and go away, they're all kind of faceless to me. The one character who is rather important in the overall story scatter (I just can't bring myself to call it a story line) is Paul Bark. At one point in time he was R's age, but he didn't die & stop aging. R doesn't know how long he was dead, sooo....

  • Paul Bark~ Ricky Schroder
